A Concept Design On Par With A Fancy Light Show
As you already know, Acura’s main theme for their new EV concept revolves around light. Inside and out, this latest concept design is an excellent display of dramatic accents and auras using a variety of LED lighting techniques that are unlike anything we’ve seen before in a vehicle.
A New Take On Acura’s Iconic Grill
Anyone who knows Acura has seen the iconic Diamond Pentagon grill. It’s already a very distinguishable feature that’s difficult to mistake, and it’s been a consistent design element in all of the brand’s new vehicles. The company isn’t getting rid of this asset, but rather upgrading it into something much more impressive. In this new Precision EV concept, the familiar grill is filled with an array of lights that are almost leaf shaped. The way all the small lights come together looks like an artistic mosaic that could be on display in a museum. To top it all off, the Acura badge also glows prominently in the middle of the revamped grill.
Redefining Ambient Lighting As We Know It
If you thought the exterior design choice was impressive, you’d be truly amazed at the interior cabin’s lighting feature. In the released photos, there are actually two different displays being projected simultaneously as a great way to show what this prototype is capable of. In this particular example, an underwater theme cascades over the footwells and the starry atmosphere of space graces the dashboard. To some people, the dash scenery may be reminiscent of a space warp segment from a popular sci-fi film.
When Will We Be Seeing The Precision EV Model On the Streets?
Like with many concept models, there’s no guarantee that the exact visions that we see will come to fruition. Prototype models are built to be ambitious, and the creator can only hope that certain elements will carry on to actual production models. But with how extravagant the Precision EV concept looks; we wouldn’t be surprised to see many of these features being available in the near future as it’s such a fresh take on EVs and a completely new way to experience all-electric driving in general.
