Podium Finish for Acura in Close Rolex 24 Race

A team of Acura drivers competed at the IMSA Rolex 24 at Daytona for the fifth consecutive year this January, with the Acura Meyer Shank Racing with Curb Agajanian #60 finishing in second place.

Co-drivers Tom Blomqvist, Colin Braun, Scott Dixon, and Felix Rosenqvist qualified sixth and completed a total of 39 laps during the 24-hour race. They missed out on victory by just 1.335 seconds.

Also in the event, the #93 Acura ARX-06—driven by Nick Yelloly, Renger van der Zande, Alex Palou, and Kakunoshin Ohta—made a strong early impression by leading for 19 laps before a suspension failure in the fifth hour forced a pit stop. Despite this setback, the Acura MSR and HRC team managed to get the car back on track within one hour, regaining crucial positions as other competitors dropped out. In the end, the #93 team crossed the finish line in 8th place.

In addition to the efforts of the #60 and #93 teams, the Acura Integra Type S served as the official safety car for the event, and HRC global president Koji Watanabe had the honor of waving the green flag as the starter.

The impressive performance of these teams during the 63rd running of the Rolex 24 race demonstrated that Acura vehicles are a force to be reckoned with. If you're interested in owning an Acura, visit us today. Our staff is ready to help you find the perfect vehicle.
