Not long after the 2023 Integra’s release, we’re already getting an upgraded Type S version that’s guaranteed to at least pique your interest. There’s no denying that it’ll be more powerful than the base version, but that’s not all Acura has in store for us. The New Integra Type S Has More Bark And Bite

Let’s start by reminding you that the base Integra comes with a 1.5L VTEC Turbo with 200 horsepower. Now, get ready for the Integra Type S 2.0L VTEC Turbo with 320 horsepower and 310 lb.-ft. of torque! That’s over 100 more horses with added grit, but there’s even more fun to be had with this particular model. While the base Integra has a 6-speed manual option, the Type S also comes in a 6-speed manual, but it is an exclusive close-ratio setup paired with a limited-slip differential. If you want to put on a show to display all that power, Sport+ mode puts the triple exhaust outlets to work with aggressive sounds that are sure to grab everyone’s attention. The Integra Type S will also have:

• Adaptive dampers
• Upgraded brakes
• 19-inch wheels
• A lightweight flywheel

Built For Speed, Designed For Play

Everything about the exterior design for the Integra Type S was planned and sculpted with proper airflow in mind. There’s a rear diffuser to limit any lift, a dual-axis front suspension system, and wider fenders and tracks. Even the front bumper is made to prevent overheating brakes. While the shape of the body and all of the additional features promote optimal performance, you also get to enjoy a bold selection of 7 distinct colors, one of them being the iconic Tiger Eye Pearl that’s also featured on other popular Acura Type S models.

Everything You Need For A Thrilling Joyride

The new Integra Type S is sure to leave people gawking as you drift on by, but what’s it like on the inside? The interior is sure to gratify all expectations with its comfortable Ultrasuede-trimmed sports seats while securing you in place with extra bolsters. You can get your trim in a satisfying black-and-white arrangement, or you can opt for an exciting red interior. The driver’s seat has power settings including adjustable lumbar support. And of course, you can access the 16-speaker ELS Studio audio system through the 9-inch infotainment screen. Meanwhile, the Head-Up Display will act as your personal guide while on the road.
