2024 Acura ZDX A-Spec vs 2024 Acura ZDX Type S
The all-electric SUV market is expanding rapidly, and the 2024 Acura ZDX excels! It boasts a high-performance all-electric powertrain that is both reliable and durable, coupled with a more glamorous design than other EV SUVs. Here, we compare the A-Spec and Type S trims of the all-electric 2024 Acura ZDX to help you understand their differences and decide which might be the right choice for you.
Performance
The ZDX is available in both single and dual-motor configurations. A-Spec trims with a single motor offer 358 horsepower. With a dual-motor setup, the A-Spec can reach up to 490 horsepower. Type S trims come standard with a dual-motor design, delivering 500 horsepower. Torque varies as well, with A-Spec RWD configurations providing 324 lb-ft of torque and A-Spec AWD dual-motor designs producing 437 lb-ft of torque. The Type S offers a standard 544 lb-ft of torque.
Appearance
All Acura SUVs feature a luxurious design flow. The hood rises gracefully, merging into a body-colored grille. Striking LED headlamps and a lower blacked-out bumper are signature features of the ZDX. The A-Spec and Type S include a panoramic moonroof with tilt and slide, Jewel Eye LED headlamps, and Chicane LED taillights. Type S models add sportier elements like a gloss black roof and an optional Sport appearance package. Photos don't do justice to the elegance of the new ZDX. Seeing them up close at our dealership is best for fully appreciating their distinct appearances.
Features
The Acura ZDX comes with an extensive list of standard features. All trims include an 11.3-inch color touchscreen display, an 18-speaker premium BANG & OLUFSEN sound system, and a wireless device charger. Seating varies significantly, with the A-Spec offering perforated Milano premium leather-trimmed seats, while the Type S features the same seats with a bold embossed Type S logo. Both trims have heated and ventilated front seats, but the Type S also includes 16-way power seats with power lumbar support. Only Type S trims offer tri-zone automatic climate control and driver-assist features such as Hands-Free Cruise, Automatic Parking Assist, and Rear Pedestrian Alert. If you are particular about details, a test drive of both trims will help you make an informed decision.
