Specs at a Glance
The 2025 Acura Integra stands out as one of the most dynamic vehicles in its segment. It delivers an exhilarating driving experience and offers great day-to-day comfort. Let's compare the Integra Base to the high-performance Integra Type S.
Performance
The Integra Base shouldn't be underestimated in terms of performance. It's powered by a spirited 1.5-liter turbo VTEC four-cylinder engine, which generates an impressive 200 horsepower and 192 lb-ft of torque. A continuously variable transmission smoothly transfers power to the front wheels. Acura has also equipped the Integra Base with a sport-tuned chassis, enhancing its nimble handling.
Under the track-inspired Integra Type S hood is a more powerful 2.0-liter turbo VTEC four-cylinder engine. This engine cranks out an astounding 320 horsepower and 310 lb-ft of torque. Unsurprisingly, the extra power translates into even quicker acceleration. The Integra Type S also comes with a six-speed manual transmission. Additional high-performance features include Brembo front brakes, a Dual AXIS Strut front suspension, and an active exhaust system.
Appearance
The Integra Base grabs attention with its stylish design. Key elements, like Acura's Diamond Pentagon grille and Jewel Eye LED headlights, give it a bold presence. A set of sleek 18-inch alloy wheels highlights the car's sporty stance. Buyers can choose from five exterior colors: Performance Red Pearl and Platinum White Pearl.
On the other hand, the Integra Type S boasts an even more aggressive profile. Its larger front air intakes add a touch of sportiness to the design. Triple exhaust tips and larger 19-inch alloy wheels with red brake calipers further set the Type S apart. Unlike the Base, the Type S also offers Apex Blue Pearl as a paint color option.
Features
Step inside the Integra Base, and you'll find a wealth of cutting-edge features. Acura's advanced infotainment system includes a 7.0-inch touchscreen with Apple CarPlay and Android Auto integration. A 10.2-inch digital gauge cluster displays key driving info. Other notable features include keyless entry with push-button start, heated front seats, and a power sunroof.
While the base model has an eight-speaker premium audio system, the Type S ups the ante with a 16-speaker ELS Studio 3D sound system. The Type S also adds upgrades like a larger 9.0-inch touchscreen, a head-up display, and a wireless charging pad.
