Specs at a Glance
Already standing out as one of the most attractive SUVs in its segment, the Acura RDX returns for 2025 with several notable updates. This premium crossover not only boasts a refreshed exterior but also features an upgraded infotainment system. Its outstanding performance capabilities and high-level comfort make this new model even more enjoyable to drive. Let's explore how the RDX Technology Package stacks up against the RDX Advance Package.
Performance
Both the RDX Technology Package and the RDX Advance Package deliver a thrilling driving experience. Each trim is powered by a turbocharged 2.0-liter VTEC four-cylinder engine that generates an impressive 272 horsepower and 280 lb-ft of torque, paired with a smooth-shifting 10-speed automatic transmission. Like the Technology trim, the Advance trim also comes equipped with Acura's Super Handling All-Wheel Drive, which improves traction and cornering ability through torque vectoring.
The RDX Advance Package also offers an Adaptive Damper System, which allows the suspension to adjust instantly to changing road conditions. This system enhances both comfort and agility, and there are three different damping modes to choose from.
Appearance
The RDX Technology trim commands attention with its sharp design. The updated front fascia showcases a new grille featuring a mesh insert, while Acura's signature Jewel Eye LED Headlights add to its distinctive look. The rear is enhanced by dual exhaust outlets and Dragon Tail LED taillights, contributing to the SUV's striking curb presence. The Technology Package also includes 19-inch machine-finished wheels and comes in six available exterior colors, such as Performance Red Pearl.
While the RDX Advance trim has a similar look, it adds additional features like LED fog lights, LED puddle lights, and a unique set of 19-inch wheels.
Features
The RDX Technology comes loaded with premium amenities. Its True Touchpad Interface infotainment system features a 10.2-inch full HD display with navigation. Other highlights include heated front sport seats, GPS-linked climate control, wireless smartphone charging, keyless entry, and a Wi-Fi hotspot.
The RDX Advance Package steps things up with open-pore wood accents and full-leather upholstery, giving the cabin a more refined feel. Ventilated front seats keep you cool during warmer weather, while a surround-view camera system makes parking easier. The Advance trim also includes a 16-speaker ELS Studio 3D premium audio system, a head-up display, and rain-sensing windshield wipers.
