Specs at a Glance

The 2026 Acura RDX is a premium sport crossover that blends luxury with exciting performance. There are several trim levels to choose from, so you can pick the one that matches your needs. Here's how the RDX Base compares to the RDX A-Spec Advance.

Performance

Both the RDX Base and A-Spec Advance come equipped with a 2.0-liter VTEC® turbo four-cylinder engine, rated at 272 horsepower and 280 lb-ft of torque. This dynamic engine is paired with a 10-speed automatic transmission, providing smooth and responsive acceleration. Acura's torque-vectoring Super Handling All-Wheel Drive™ (SH-AWD®) comes standard on both models, ensuring superior traction.

The main difference in performance is the suspension. The RDX A-Spec Advance features an adaptive damper suspension system, so you can adjust the ride to your liking. Comfort mode is perfect for smooth highway drives, while Sport mode stiffens the dampers to help reduce body roll on curves.

Appearance

Even as the entry point to the lineup, the RDX Base projects a high-end image. It features signature Jewel Eye® LED headlights and rides on 19-inch black alloy wheels, giving it a sophisticated presence right off the lot.

The RDX A-Spec Advance stands out with its sport appearance package. It comes with exclusive 20-inch machine-finished wheels for a more aggressive look, plus LED fog lights and LED puddle lights. You'll also get extra exterior color options that aren't available on the Base trim.

Features

The Base model delivers impressive value without sacrificing comfort. Occupants are treated to standard premium amenities, including a panoramic roof and 12-way power-adjustable front seats with heating. Tech integration is seamless via the True Touchpad Interface™ and a 10.2-inch full HD center display that supports Apple CarPlay® and Android Auto®: a nine-speaker audio system, wireless charger, and the AcuraWatch™ safety suite round out the standard equipment.

The A-Spec Advance trim adds even more luxury. You get a surround-view camera system for easier parking and a 16-speaker ELS Studio 3D® premium audio system for top-notch sound. Comfort is taken up a notch with 16-way power-adjustable front seats with ventilation and GPS-linked climate control. Other highlights include a head-up display, rain-sensing wipers, and remote engine start.
