Every year, leading automakers debut their newest models at the world-renowned Monterey Car Week. This year, it was Acura's opportunity to spotlight an exciting addition to its lineup. Scheduled for release in late 2026, the Acura RSX will make its debut as a fully electric model. This vehicle marks a significant milestone as Acura's first stand-alone EV, developed independently without collaboration from other brands.

 
Honda is a global powerhouse in the automotive industry, and it's no surprise that it is now at the forefront of electric vehicle production. They operate an electric vehicle manufacturing facility in Ohio known as the Honda EV Hub. By the end of 2025, Honda announced that its innovative EV hub will produce the Acura RSX, an all-new electric SUV offered by Acura. Honda has proudly announced that the RSX will be the first electric vehicle produced at its Midwest EV hub.
